The Anne McDonald Centre works with people who have had a stroke

After someone's had a stroke (CVA) they can develop speech or language problems.  Sometimes these can be assisted with communication devices, and the Centre can help with that.  There are also strategies that families and carers can use to support the communication of people who have had a stroke that do not involve equipment.
